Zeroramp x Ladybird: Same ethos, different problem

Zeroramp is now a sponsor of Ladybird, the open source foundation building an independent browser engine from scratch.
Why Ladybird?
The answer is simple. What they're building, how they're building it, and who they're building it for all align with us.
Privacy isn't a feature
For both of us, privacy is the starting constraint dictating the data reality for our users: collecting, trading, or monetising it simply isn't an option. That's the whole premise behind Zeno — you decide where your data lives and we do not force you to trust a black box. We recognise Ladybird is chasing the same idea one layer down — an engine nobody has to trust blindly because nobody controls it unilaterally.
We'd rather build the hard thing than fake it
The easy path would have been forking Chromium. Ladybird chose to build a new engine from scratch, the same way we chose not to disguise an OpenAI wrapper as a product. Our architecture creates leverage, treating open source as an earned choice rather than a default shortcut. Though slower, it's the only way to own what you ship versus renting someone else's decisions.
No side quests
At the core, both of us are just trying to do one thing well. Ladybird wants to build a browser. We want to fix employee onboarding. Not a Frankenstein of features in pursuit of an ARR multiple, just one problem tackled elegantly to completion. We are backing Ladybird because they uphold this standard well.
The message
This sponsorship is about backing an important mission based on shared values. We need more tools which amplify humanity without silently captivating their privacy or agency.
We see you, Ladybird.
